CHS Travel: Registered Nurse (RN) / Medical Surgical - Days

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• 48-hour guarantees may be accommodated
• Block schedule may be accommodated as long as it doesn't require the same days every week
• 2+ years of experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Required to float as needed but rarely occurs
• May occasionally float to ICU to take Med Surg overflow or step down patients
• Call required but rarely needed
• Patient ratio typically 1:6, sometimes 1:7
• Work with general Med Surg patients, some post-op orthopedic and general surgery patients
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Work with Cerner EMR and Mindray Telemetry System
• Maximum 1 week RTO approved
• Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers
• Auto offers only - no interviews required
