CT Technologist Job in Raleigh, NC

You'll work as a CT Technologist at University of North Carolina Health Care System in Raleigh, NC. This is a 20-week contract assignment on a weekend overnight shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. You'll earn $2,328 weekly.

Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct CT procedures and tests using Computerized Tomography equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data
• Verify patient identification, obtain patient history, and ensure patient safety at all times
• Ask and document pregnancy status on patients of childbearing age
• Obtain images per protocols, manipulate images, and perform multi-planar and 3D reconstruction of image data
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of CT algorithms and select appropriate window and level settings according to anatomy
• Administer oral contrast to adult and pediatric patients according to protocols
• Establish intravenous lines and administer IV contrast following safe and proper injection procedures
• Check appropriate lab values before contrast injection per protocol
• Maintain thorough understanding of PACS and transmit images to QC, EMR, EPIC, and PACS systems
• Verify and segment images at the QC station and complete, modify, and cancel orders in a timely manner
• Ensure all charge and demographic information is accurate on PACS images
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment and produce quality diagnostic images
• Precept new employees and students as needed

You must hold an Allied Health Professional credential as a CT Technologist. Your assignment runs 138 days, starting November 9, 2026.
