Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Handle 10-11 call shifts per month with Monday-Friday call coverage from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Cover cath lab and hybrid OR procedures, interventional cardiology, STEMI, peripherals, and device implants
• Required to scrub and circulate/monitor cases
• Work as part of a 3-person team (2 RNs and 1 tech)
• Handle 2-9 cases per day with an average of 4-5 cases
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, WV License/ARRT - RCIS not accepted
• Must have experience with IABP and IVUS; familiarity with Acist injector preferred
• Handle all cardiac adult procedures including peripheral, cardiac cath PCI, ICD, pacers (no EP or ablations)
• May be floated to Non-Invasive CV at times to start IVs
• Scrubs provided: Rad Techs wear burgundy
• Two shifts of orientation with preceptor plus buddy call for cath lab
• Use EPIC charting system and Xper dynamics equipment
• Weekend requirement includes Saturday/Sunday weekends 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Holiday coverage handled by call shifts
