ED RN Job in Caldwell, ID

Join West Valley Medical Center's 27-bed emergency department as a registered nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend required. This is a no-float role where you'll build continuity with your team.

You'll care for patients with a typical ratio of 4:1, occasionally 5:1 depending on acuity. The department uses Meditech for its electronic medical record system and employs a staff of 52 across the unit. On-call shifts may be pre-scheduled by the department as needed.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
• Trauma experience, stroke care, and strong sepsis management skills
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, STABLE, and CPI
• NRP certification preferred

Preferred experience: Background in trauma, pediatric emergency care, or behavioral health is valued.

You'll demonstrate strong critical thinking, excellent emergency department skills, a positive attitude, and genuine commitment to teamwork. Professional dress and grooming standards apply: wear royal blue scrub tops, optionally paired with black scrub bottoms. Maintain minimal piercings, natural hair color, and cover any tattoos.

This assignment runs for 91 days, starting October 5, 2026. Your weekly pay is $1,839.60.
