Med Surg RN Job in Atlanta, GA

You will work as a Registered Nurse on a high-acuity medical-surgical floor focused on surgery and trauma at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. This is a 3x12 night shift role with an 89-week duration, starting July 20, 2026.

About the Role

You will care for a diverse patient population including surgical patients, gunshot wounds, quadriplegics, and paraplegics. Your patient ratio will be 5:1, allowing you to provide focused care while managing multiple assignments. You are expected to work assigned shifts without block schedule requests or request time off (RTO).

Your Team

You will have support from nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and a unit secretary during night shifts. The ED nurse and admitting unit will complete nurse handoffs to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• EPIC experience required

Compensation

You will receive $1,764.44 weekly.
