Travel:Registered Nurse (RN) / NICU

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - NICU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work night shifts in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit<br>• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required<br>• Prior travel experience required<br>• Provide care to NICU patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act<br>• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgement, and leadership in patient care planning<br>• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience levels<br>• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel<br>• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education<br>• Required certifications: Vent, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE<br>• Must wear navy scrubs<br>• Work with ventilators and advanced neonatal life support equipment<br>• Hold shift accountability for safe delivery of patient care<br>• Anticipate and plan for complex neonatal care needs</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This regional medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services including a specialized Neonatal Intensive Care Unit dedicated to caring for critically ill newborns.
