NICU Registered Nurse Job in Odessa, TX

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Odessa Regional Medical Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning February 17, 2026, with night shifts on a 3x12 schedule. Your weekly pay is $2,233.80.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to NICU patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with the Texas Nurse Practice Act
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care planning and delivery
• Lead and supervise assigned nursing personnel based on their education and experience levels
• Delegate patient care priorities appropriately across your team
• Work with ventilators and advanced neonatal life support equipment
• Anticipate and plan for complex neonatal care needs
• Hold shift accountability for safe and effective patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education

Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and Ventilator certification
• Navy scrubs required
