ED Registered Nurse Job in Coos Bay, OR

Bay Area Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department in Coos Bay, Oregon. This is a temporary position offering 3x12 rotating shifts with a weekly pay rate of $2,203.20 for a 91-day assignment beginning July 21, 2026.

Role Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to the care of patients within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
• Teach patients and significant others regarding care and treatment
• Document patient care accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient
• Participate in on-call and weekend schedules as determined by the facility

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required
• Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years required
• Oregon nursing license (does not need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain)
• Current certifications: TNCC, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application
• Resume required at time of submission

You will work in a fast-paced emergency setting, delivering direct patient care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Your experience and certifications will be essential to providing safe, effective care to patients across all acuity levels in the ED.
