Medical Technologist - Lab

Job Details:

• Work 7 days on, 7 days off schedule with shifts from 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, judgment, and leadership in laboratory technology practice
• Responsible for efficient planning, directing, and accurate provision of all laboratory testing in assigned area
• Practice in accordance with laboratory policies, procedures, regulatory standards, and recognized testing techniques
• Must have 5 years recent experience as a Medical Technologist
• ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist required
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required
• Experience required in blood bank, MTS gel & tube methods
• Must have experience with Beckman Coulter hematology (520 and 690), manual differential, body fluid cell count and diff procedures
• Experience with Werfen Top coagulation instrumentation & urine microscopic procedures required
• Work in day shift environment with expanded service line opportunities
