Cardiac Cath Lab

Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 day/evening shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• No on-call, no holiday, and no weekend shifts required
• Provide pre and post procedural care in the Cath Lab, EP Lab, and IR Prep and Recovery unit
• Precept staff as required
• Average daily census of 15-30 patients with 12 beds in the unit
• Care for adult patient populations
• Utilize Cerner charting system (required)
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab, IR, or EP Lab Prep/Recovery experience required
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment prior to consideration
• Pre/post procedural experience required; Cath Lab, IR, and EP experience preferred
• Required skills include: blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care/management, isolation precautions/PPE, cardiac drip management (no titration), nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, pacemaker management (temporary/permanent), PCU/DOU/IMC/stepdown, peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy, post cardiac angiogram care, pre/post cardiac cath care, starting and maintaining IVs, and TR Band
