MRI Technologist Job in Richmond, VA

You will work as an MRI Technologist at CJW Medical Center Chippenham Campus in Richmond, Virginia. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Role Overview

You will perform MRI procedures in the Radiology Department, located on the 1st floor. Your responsibilities include conducting brain, spine, orthopedic, body, abdominal, and cardiac scans using GE 450W 1.5T MRI equipment. You will operate Meditech and Centricity PACS systems as part of your daily workflow.

Schedule

You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week, Saturday through Monday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Each shift is staffed with two technologists. You will participate in a weekend call rotation, typically covering one weekend per month. You will also have two weeknights of on-call availability each week, typically from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree or equivalent
• MR Registered certification
• BLS certification
• Virginia state license in hand at time of submission
• Experience operating GE MRI equipment
• Cardiac scan experience preferred

Compensation & Details

Weekly pay is $2,233.80. You will wear navy scrubs. The facility provides a professional environment with established protocols and a team of two technologists per shift to support safe, efficient patient care.
