RN (Registered Nurse)

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Every other weekend schedule requirement
• Every other holiday schedule requirement
• 12-hour cancellation policy every 2 weeks
• Highly preferred: travel experience or 5+ years in a Level 1 Trauma Facility
• Must have Meditech experience for charting system
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS, CPI
• Caribbean Blue scrubs required
• Floor-specific orientation: 2 shifts
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1 to 4
• Emergency Department position requiring experience in trauma and behavioral health
• Care for pediatric to geriatric patients including trauma cases
• Perform own lab draws and IV starts
• Complete ORT during week one (cannot roll over unless approved by EC leadership)
• Adhere to callout process expectations
• Work with 6-bed behavioral lock down area staffed by psych
• Support available from 5-6 nurse aides/paramedics per shift, charge nurse, security/patient sitters
• Central monitoring tech for telemetry and 24/7 respiratory therapist dedicated to ER
