PACU RN Job in Kamuela, HI

Queen's North Hawai'i Community Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for a 16-week travel assignment in the Pre-Op/PACU unit. You will work rotating shifts with 40 guaranteed hours per week, plus on-call responsibilities.

What you'll do:

• Provide nursing care in the Pre-Op and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) environments
• Work rotating shifts across the unit
• Potentially float to areas of equal or lesser acuity based on operational needs
• Manage patient recovery and monitoring post-anesthesia

Requirements:

• Current Hawaii RN License
• Two or more years of full-time staff RN experience in Pre-Op/Post-Op and/or PACU environments
• AHA BLS certification
• AHA ACLS certification
• AHA PALS certification
• All licenses and certifications must remain valid from application submission through contract end

Assignment details:

• Start date: June 8, 2026
• Duration: 16 weeks
• Weekly pay: $2,496.60
• Location: Kamuela, HI

Important notes:

• Requested time off during your initial contract is limited to a maximum of 7 days (Wednesday through Wednesday)
• You must complete all compliance requirements no later than 10 days prior to your contract start date
