Pharmacist - Pharmacist

Job Details:

• Work 8-10 hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM weekdays, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM weekends)
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week for 13-week contract
• Work every other weekend and holiday rotation
• No float requirements or on-call responsibilities
• Manage multiple concurrent responsibilities in central inpatient pharmacy
• Verify Epic orders, check technician work, and answer pharmacist phone calls
• Provide inpatient and outpatient IVs, inpatient unit dose medications, and outpatient chemotherapy
• Support inpatient census of 10-15 patients
• Work with various units including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, and ED
• Inpatient pharmacy operates 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM weekdays, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM weekends/holidays
• Required: Wisconsin Pharmacist License and Doctorate of Pharmacy degree
• Minimum 1 year inpatient hospital experience required
• Epic charting experience highly preferred
• Hospital scrubs provided
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• May be placed on call for low census hours with 2-hour minimum call back pay
• Must comply with facility vaccination and mask policies during flu season
