Interventional Radiology RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

OU Health is seeking an RN to join our Interventional Radiology team in Oklahoma City on a travel assignment. You'll provide specialized nursing care across Neuro IR, Vascular IR, and General IR, working 16-hour night shifts for an 89-day contract beginning July 27, 2026.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiologic procedures
• Assume responsibility for assigned patient groups and monitor their responses to treatment
• Assist physicians during patient examinations and diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data, intervening as clinically necessary
• Administer medications and manage intravenous infusions and blood products
• Document all patient responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments
• Note changes in physician orders and communicate updates to the care team
• Interact with patients and families to explain care plans during hospitalization and at discharge
• Oversee treatment provided by technicians and support staff
• Inform patients and families of hospital procedures and expectations
• Make appropriate referrals for patient care needs
• Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
• Maintain on-call responsibilities as required
