CVOR Technologist Surgical Tech Job in Columbus, NE

Columbus Community Hospital is seeking a Surgical Tech with CVOR Technologist expertise for a travel assignment in Columbus, Nebraska. This 89-day role offers a 3x12 rotating shift schedule and weekly pay of $2,131.20.

Position Overview

You will support cardiothoracic and vascular operations across four OR suites and additional procedural rooms. As a smaller rural facility, you will assist with room turnover and cleaning alongside your primary surgical tech responsibilities. The role requires flexibility to meet departmental needs and a commitment to working across multiple surgical specialties without extended orientation periods.

Core Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech
• CST certification (NCCT or NBSTSA also accepted)
• BLS certification through American Heart Association
• Demonstrated experience with Da Vinci Robot and Mako systems
• Proven background across ortho, general, urology, ENT, OBGYN procedures including C-sections, Da Vinci, and Mako cases
• Flexibility with schedule to support departmental priorities

What to Expect

You will work in a collaborative surgical environment where you manage equipment preparation, instrument management, and room readiness. The facility provides scrubs and expects you to complete MOAB training on site if you do not currently hold CPI or MOAB certification.
