Wound Care RN Job in San Francisco, CA

You will provide wound care nursing services at Sutter Health CPMC Mission Bernal Campus in San Francisco. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday on 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Your responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct wound care and consultations
• Floating to other facilities as needed for wound care consults
• Floating to other nursing units within the facility for wound care consultations
• Charting in the Epic system
• Participating in 40 hours of orientation, including non-billable modules averaging 1–5 hours

What you need:

• Current California nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Previous charge experience required
• BLS certification (AHA, in hand at submittal)
• WOCN certification (AHA, in hand at submittal)
• One of the following certifications for at least 2 years: CWOCN, CWON, or CWCN (AHA, in hand at submittal)
• Epic charting system experience
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Availability for lab work within 3–5 days of signing
• Ability to travel up to 50 miles
• 7-year work history verification

Position details:

• Schedule: 5×8 days (40 hours per week)
• Weekly pay: $2,793.60
• Contract duration: 91 days
• Start date: May 4, 2026
• One holiday request will be approved per contract

You will work as part of a wound care team in a community hospital setting with access to multiple facility locations for consultation and training opportunities.
