Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required with holidays required as well
• Patient ratio of 1:6 on a 36-bed unit
• Floating to other units as needed per hospital policy
• Telemetry rhythm interpretation skills required
• Perform PICC line removal and vas cath/temporary cath removal
• Conduct hourly rounding, bedside shift report, and maintain My Care Boards using AIDET communication framework
• Document using Meditech electronic health record system
• Operate telemetry monitors, Dynamaps for vital signs, glucometers, iMobile phones, and bladder scanners
• Strong nursing background with thorough assessment skills and attention to detail required
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, flexibility, dependability, teamwork, self-motivation, and strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage stressful situations required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Required dress code: Ceil blue scrubs with hospital hygiene and dress code policy followed
