Job Details:

• Perform basic diagnostic mammography imaging exams and procedures
• Execute imaging procedures according to established protocols, using professional judgment to adapt imaging procedures when required
• Utilize EMR, safety report system, and other systems used in mammography
• Apply proper patient positioning tools, devices, and equipment adjustments using ergonomically correct scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety
• Monitor patients' condition during procedures and initiate emergency procedures if needed in response to changes in patient condition
• Reconfirm patient identification and gather relevant information regarding the reason for the procedure
• Confirm patient prep, contraindications, and address and document patient questions and concerns
• Provide accurate explanations and instructions to patients
• Process and perform image quality control, archive images, and ensure documentation is complete in all systems
• Report diagnostic observations to physicians
• Clean equipment and determine whether performance is safe for operation, taking appropriate steps to obtain additional assessment or corrective action as needed
• Perform all required equipment testing for quality control program
