Endoscopy RN Job in San Bernardino, CA

Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy GI

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday with varied start times
• Start time depends on first case and requires arrival 1 hour before case begins
• Call responsibilities include one evening shift per week (end of regular shift to 7:00 AM) and one weekend per month (48 hours)
• Weekend call required
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Float to PACU/ACU as needed
• Handle average of 3-5 cases per day plus emergency cases
• Must have minimum 2 years of GI experience required
• Moderate sedation experience required when anesthesia is not available
• Prior Cerner charting experience preferred
• Charge nurse responsibilities included
• Special department-provided scrubs required
• 2-3 day department-specific orientation provided
• Common procedures include EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, MRCP, and biopsies
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke, Crisis Protocol Approved, NIHSS
• Use Cerner-Surginet EMR system
• BSN degree not required
