Telemetry RN Job in Pikeville, KY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. This is an 8-week contract beginning April 6, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry (Surgical/Ortho Unit)
• Shift: 3x12 nights (48 guaranteed hours per week)
• Weekly Pay: $2,073.60
• Patient Ratio: 1:6 with 15-45 beds depending on unit assignment

Schedule & Expectations

• Every other weekend and holiday required unless given time-off approval
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• Float requirements include Med Surg/Telemetry units and all in-patient areas
• May be tasked as an aide if other units need assistance

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year RN experience in specialty
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
• Kentucky or Compact RN License
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• AHA ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing

Clinical Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
• EKG test required during compliance process
• Care View/EPIC charting experience preferred; on-site training provided
