Endoscopy Tech - GI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour shifts per week with rotating call schedule
• Assist nursing staff and physicians during endoscopic procedures including polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, and dilations
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment efficiently based on procedure needs
• Disinfect and process endoscopic equipment following proper protocols
• Set up procedure rooms with appropriate supplies and equipment
• Transport patients as needed throughout the facility
• Stock rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
• Assist patients with dressing and ambulation as directed by nursing staff
• Apply EKG monitors, blood pressure cuffs, and pulse oximetry prior to procedures
• 2 years of endoscopy experience required
• Advanced case endoscopy experience required for complex, high-level procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• BLS through American Heart Association certification required
• Colorado DORA Surgical Tech registration required
• Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) certification highly preferred
• Current IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) certification highly preferred
• Permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from facility
