Registered Nurse - Operating Room @ MUSC Health Charleston

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - OR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• No on-call requirements<br>• Up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks required<br>• Must work at least one holiday period (Christmas: Dec 24-26 or New Year&#39;s: Dec 31-Jan 1)<br>• 2 years of experience strongly preferred, first-timers accepted<br>• Scrub experience strongly preferred<br>• Must float within scope to meet facility needs between like units/sister facilities<br>• Required certifications: BLS, Radiation Badge (provided by agency)<br>• Level 1 trauma experience required<br>• SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required<br>• Must be trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures<br>• Work with all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics<br>• Use EPIC charting system<br>• Scrubs provided by facility<br>• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks<br>• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)<br>• Complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours pre-start</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This Level I academic trauma center and Magnet-designated hospital features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties with cutting-edge technology. The Main Operating Room operates within an 820-bed facility that serves as both a teaching hospital and trauma center.
