About this role

You will work as a Physical Therapist Assistant in long-term care at Tide Health Group - Arbor View Nursing and Rehab in Kerrville, Texas. This is a 91-day assignment running 5 days per week on day shift with flexible scheduling. You will earn $1,641.60 weekly.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver rehabilitative and skilled treatment interventions under Physical Therapist supervision
  • Administer manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, and modalities
  • Assess patient progress and communicate findings with the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Utilize supportive and assistive devices as part of individualized rehabilitation plans
  • Document all clinical and regulatory information in the electronic documentation system
  • Accurately record treatment minutes for all services provided
  • Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation team meetings
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
  • Supervise and support students under Physical Therapist guidance
  • Complete facility and company required trainings and in-services

Requirements

  • Active PTA license in Texas
  • 1+ years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience
  • Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
  • Maintain adherence to APTA and State Required practice acts and code of conduct

What You Will Not Do

  • No on-call responsibilities
  • No weekend work required

You will support patient care using evidence-based practice and apply clinical judgment under supervision. This role is ideal if you want consistent day shifts without weekends or on-call obligations in a long-term care setting.
