Electrophysiology Technician Job in Washington, DC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Electrophysiology Technician for a 91-day travel assignment at Medstar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. You'll work 4x10 day shifts from 0700–1700, with 2 days of late case coverage per week. There are no on-call or weekend requirements, and no floating to other units.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support cardiac electrophysiology studies, cardioversion, and ablation procedures for atrial flutter and atrial fibrillation
• Assist with device implants and explants
• Monitor hemodynamics and perform EKG duties including sinus node rhythm interpretation, vital sign collection, and inpatient/outpatient monitoring
• Manage an average daily caseload of 18 cases across 5 procedure rooms
• Document procedures in Cerner and GE Cardiolab systems

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of EP Lab clinical experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and CCI RCES or RCIS certifications
• Hands-on experience with Philips and Siemens X-ray machines and GE Micropacer equipment
• Pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing

Preferred Qualifications:

• ARRT certification
• Fluoroscopy permit

The facility provides 20 hours of orientation and supplies scrubs. First-time travelers with required EP experience are welcome to apply. Your assignment begins May 11, 2026, and offers weekly pay of $3,146.40.
