Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - PCU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM<br>• Every other weekend required<br>• 13-week assignment duration<br>• Patient ratio of 4 to 1<br>• Must have active Alabama state license or multistate license with no prior hits<br>• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS<br>• Minimum 1+ years recent stepdown or ICU experience required<br>• Cerner experience preferred<br>• Must live greater than 50 miles from the facility<br>• Provide patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies<br>• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning safe care delivery<br>• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education<br>• Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel<br>• Hold shift accountability for Progressive Care Unit/Telemetry patient care</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a Progressive Care Unit and Telemetry department providing intermediate-level care for patients who require continuous monitoring and specialized nursing attention.
