Respiratory Therapist

Opportunity:

Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - CRT

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• No on-call responsibilities required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• RRTs preferred but CRTs will be considered
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, PALS, and BLS
• Must live 100+ miles from hospital service area
• General orientation begins on Mondays with online CBLs
• 16 hours of non-billable orientation required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Work with patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform respiratory therapy services including ventilator management, ABG interpretation, aerosol treatments, BiPAP/CPAP, chest physiotherapy, and tracheostomy care
• Handle emergency department respiratory care and adult critical care situations
• Hospital may cancel one shift bi-weekly without penalty due to census changes
• Additional overtime shifts may be flexed based on hospital census needs
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Drug test must be completed 12-14 calendar days prior to start date
• Fit testing required - facial hair must be trimmed to meet CDC guidelines
