X-Ray Technician Job in Ithaca, NY

Cayuga Medical Center is seeking an X-Ray Technician for a weekend travel position. You will provide diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced healthcare environment while supporting the facility's clinical teams.

Position Details:

• Weekend schedule: Saturday and Sunday
• Shift hours: 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM (16 hours per weekend day)
• Assignment duration: 90 days
• Start date: September 27, 2026

Your Role:

You will operate diagnostic imaging equipment, positioning patients and taking radiographic images according to physician orders. Your responsibilities include maintaining equipment safety standards, following infection control protocols, and documenting imaging procedures accurately. You will work collaboratively with radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care and efficient departmental operations.
