Electrophysiology Lab RN Job in Austin, TX

Heart Hospital of Austin is seeking an RN for a 13-week contract assignment in the Electrophysiology Lab. This is a day shift role running 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday (4x10 schedule), with no weekend requirements.

About the Role

You will work in a high-volume EP lab environment alongside 3–4 staff members per procedure, plus anesthesia support. Your responsibilities include:

• Performing standard implant procedures
• Supporting all EP ablation cases (excluding VT procedures)
• Assisting with Watchman procedures
• Maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
• Operating Philips equipment and Meditech EMR system

On-call coverage is required as part of this assignment.

What We're Looking For

You will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with 2 or more years dedicated to electrophysiology preferred. Experience with Claris monitoring is a plus. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and bring a strong sense of urgency to patient care.

What You'll Receive

The hospital provides scrubs. Your weekly pay is $2,330 for this 91-day assignment beginning September 8, 2026.
