Job Details:

• Perform MRI exams and procedures as requested by medical staff
• Operate magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used in diagnosis and treatment of patient pathologies
• Use knowledge of imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy to create high quality images for interpretation by radiologists and other medical professionals
• Modify technical settings and adjust scanning parameters to enhance images
• Assist radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures
• Complete documentation of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
• Retrieve prior images, studies, written orders, and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of MRI exams
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on scanner and archive imaging data
• Position may require working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts
• On-call work may be required
• Must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA), MRI Technician certification
• Must be a graduate of a CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent
• Previous MRI experience required
