Med Surg RN Job in Pratt, KS

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical unit at Pratt Regional Medical Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 13, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You'll earn $1,944 weekly.

Your Role

You'll care for post-operative joint replacement patients (hips and knees) and general medical patients across all age groups, from infants to geriatrics. Your patient ratio will be 4:1 on days, nights, and weekends. The unit maintains a daily census of approximately 12 patients. You'll be expected to float to the ER, ICU, and LDRP as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Current RN license (Kansas state or compact license required)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Strong orthopedic and general surgery experience
• Total joint replacement experience (hips and knees) preferred
• Rural health experience is a plus
• Charge experience preferred
• BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Key Skills

• IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Charge experience
• TRUBRIDGE EMR experience preferred; we're willing to train if you don't have it
