PACU Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

You'll join Northside Hospital Atlanta as a Registered Nurse in our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This 13-week travel assignment offers you the opportunity to provide specialized post-anesthesia nursing care in a structured, predictable schedule.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday
• 32 hours per week across 4 days
• No weekends or holidays required
• 13-week assignment beginning May 18, 2026

Your Role:

You'll deliver post-anesthesia care unit nursing services to patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, plastic surgery, general surgery, colorectal, and gynecological cases. Your responsibilities will center on monitoring patient recovery, managing pain and nausea, maintaining airway patency, and ensuring safe transition from the operating room to the recovery unit and beyond.

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience within PACU specialty
• AHA BLS certification
• ACLS certification

This position is open to travel nurses only. Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered. You'll bring your expertise to a facility-based team and contribute to quality post-operative care in a collegial environment.
