RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work in mixed surgical PCU and medical-surgical unit
• May float to medical-surgical units (2) or observation unit within the facility
• Varied work schedule assignment
• Must have previous travel experience to be considered
• Current, valid RN license required in state of practice
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in specialty area
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care according to organizational policies
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Delegate and supervise activities of healthcare team members
• Complete patient assessments and reassessments according to patient needs
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Interact with physicians, patients, families and other healthcare providers
• May be required to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
