Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Oklahoma City, OK

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the team at OU Health in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a 89-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work a 4×10 schedule, with 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week. This role includes weekend and night call coverage, and you will provide on-call clinical support outside regularly scheduled hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as assigned.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose, monitor, and treat simple to complex conditions without surgery
• Perform and assist with procedures including cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, angiography, device implantation, biopsies, thrombectomy, embolization, and pain management
• Utilize specialized radiologic equipment and techniques for diagnostic, interventional, and invasive procedures
• Act as a scrub tech, assisting providers during procedures while maintaining strict sterile field and adhering to safety protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide patient comfort and support
• Transfer images and data to the electronic health system and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, disinfecting, and equipment maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines
• Respond to patient and family inquiries regarding diagnostic testing and result timelines
• Support academic partnerships by engaging in teaching of radiology students as needed
• Serve as departmental preceptor, providing instruction and mentorship to new or less experienced team members as assigned

Requirements

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (RT).

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,611.
