Job Details:

• Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families
• Supervise assigned team members in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, hospital, Nursing Department, and regulatory standards
• Responsible for care of patients in the operating room as a circulating and/or scrub nurse
• Serve as a teacher to ensure safe and therapeutically effective nursing care
• Maintain the work area and participate in 24-hour call coverage
• Use nursing assessment skills to recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Previous experience in Operating Room and Recovery Room nursing preferred
• Current Washington State or Multi-State RN license required
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required at time of hire
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
