<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN Endovascular Neurosurgery</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work in a new specialty department providing endovascular neurological procedures<br>• Call schedule every other week<br>• Experience in Neuro Interventions, Cath Lab, or Cardiovascular Operating Room circulator experience mandatory<br>• ICU experience preferred<br>• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), moderate sedation training<br>• South Carolina or Multistate nursing license required<br>• Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis<br>• Plan and provide individualized nursing care to meet holistic age-specific patient needs<br>• Perform patient safety initiatives including patient identification, effective communication, and universal protocol<br>• Carry out physician orders and maintain proper documentation<br>• Provide nursing handoff care and bedside reporting<br>• Complete procedural paperwork including consent forms and pre/post-procedure checklists<br>• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance<br>• Reconcile and administer patient medications per policies and procedures<br>• Administer blood and blood products according to established protocols<br>• Care for patients requiring moderate sedation, point of care testing, and contrast injection procedures<br>• Perform sheath removal and operate patient equipment in procedure suite<br>• Operate physiological monitoring systems<br>• Maintain procedural aseptic scrubbing and technique<br>• Handle LVO stroke cases and cerebral aneurysm repairs with endovascular trained neurologist</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This regional medical center is establishing a new Neuro Endovascular department, specializing in advanced endovascular neurological procedures including stroke interventions and cerebral aneurysm repairs.
