RN - Emergency

Job Details:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies/procedures
• Monitor and evaluate patient functional status
• Complete assessments and individualize plans of care within established unit/nursing guidelines
• Carry out nursing care with consideration for cultural and psychosocial factors and ages of individual patients
• Organize, prioritize, and perform nursing skills appropriate for the patient population
• Delegate and communicate effectively and appropriately
• Document steps of the nursing process and care on appropriate records accurately and legibly
• Facilitate patient teaching and discharge planning
• Make timely and appropriate referrals
• Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines as appropriate
• Epic experience required
• Working knowledge of disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways required
• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, ENPC, TNCC
