Med Surg RN Job in Morgantown, WV

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on a 5-bed inpatient Medical Surgical/Oncology unit at Mon Health Medical Center, caring for adult and geriatric patients. This is a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension.

Schedule & Compensation

• 4x12 night shifts with weekday scheduling and every other weekend coverage required
• Blocked schedule available
• $2,592 weekly pay

Role Responsibilities

• Patient ratios of 1:5–6 across days, nights, and weekends
• IV start skills required
• Chemotherapy administration performed on unit
• Charting via Cerner electronic health record system

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Current WV or Compact nursing license; pending licenses accepted for submission
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications through American Heart Association
• Two manager and/or charge nurse references from the past 2 years

Preferred Qualifications

• Oncology experience
• Previous charge nurse experience
• Cerner experience
• ONS chemo/biotherapy certification

Additional Details

• Burgundy and/or white scrubs required; not provided by facility
• Facility expects high reliability with a tolerance of 2–3 call-offs per contract
