Job Details:

• 12-hour day/night variable shifts
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed with potential to float to Stanley, Antigo, Wausau, and Merrill locations
• Can be placed on low census call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• Patient ratio of 1:10-1:15 on Med/Surg unit
• Assist patients with ADLs, full set vitals, POC blood glucose, Foley care, bladder scans, and removal of PIVs
• Perform occupied bed changes, empty ostomy pouches, postmortem care, and strict I&O monitoring for drains
• Operate all lift equipment and assist with ambulation using drains, walkers, and gait belts
• Provide 1:1 sitter care and support for BH/withdrawal patients
• Attach telemetry leads and assist with chest tube monitoring
• Don and doff PPE as required
• Care for adult patients with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient STAC hospital experience required
• Required certifications: WI CNA license, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• High school diploma, GED, or official transcripts required
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• 36 hours of unbillable low census hours included in contract
