RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Valid PA license or Compact License required at time of submission
• Must have BLS and ACLS certifications
• Patient ratios minimum of 6:1 across all shifts (days, nights, weekends)
• Weekend coverage required with 4 weekend shifts per contract
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Float within hospital when needed
• Care for patients in medical surgical telemetry unit with 34 beds and 27 rooms
• Treat adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Handle post-operative joint replacement, weight loss management surgery, and general surgery patients
• Experience with medical non-monitored patient diagnoses
• Charting system experience required using Cerner
• Complete fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing
• Complete drug screen and labs within 24-48 hours of signing
• Clock in and out using badge with supervisor approval for timesheets
