Medical Technologist - Medical Lab Technician (MLT) / Medical Technologist (MT)

Job Details:

• 8-hour variable shifts with flexible start times based on need
• Shift start and end times: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, and 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• On-call shifts: 12:00 PM - 6:00 AM (weekends) and 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Monday through Friday)
• 40 guaranteed hours per week (on-call and callback hours are in addition to guaranteed hours)
• Between 1 and 3 on-call shifts per week required with a 20-minute callback response time
• Weekend requirement approximately every 3 to 5 weekends, with more available if desired
• Weekend schedule includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday day shifts plus on-call after shift hours
• Holiday rotation required with scheduled day shift starting at 6:00 AM followed by on-call until 6:00 AM the next day
• Float responsibilities across Hospital Lab, Clinic Lab, and Phlebotomy throughout the facility
• Perform phlebotomy in addition to laboratory testing including gel system blood bank, Heme/Coag with manual differential, Chemistry, and limited microbiology including gram stain, C. diff, and PCR
• Generalist lab position serving clinic, Med/Surg, ED, LTC, surgery, infusion, and outpatient departments
• Minimum 1 year of generalist experience required
• Phlebotomy experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Required certifications: ASCP MLT/MT and AHA BLS
• Any color or print scrubs permitted
