MRI Technologist Job in Tulsa, OK

You will operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes at Yale Campus Hospital in Tulsa. This is a travel position offering steady work over 89 weeks at $2,812 weekly pay, working 5x8 evening shifts beginning June 29, 2026.

Your responsibilities include:

• Operate MRI equipment and perform examinations according to department protocols
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures of various body parts
• Set up equipment including coils and monitoring devices in relation to patient positioning
• Screen patients and personnel for metal objects or implants that could cause harm
• Perform quality control tests on department equipment and report discrepancies
• Collect and evaluate examination information from scheduling, patients, and referring physicians
• Evaluate scanning procedure results for quality and completeness
• Manipulate images using console keyboard and mouse for physician display
• Send images to PACS system and verify exams in timely manner
• Maintain departmental records, patient information, and accurate documentation according to policy

Required credentials and experience:

• Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology Program or MRI accredited program
• Registration from ARRT-R or ARMRIT
• BLS certification
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• 2 years of MRI experience preferred
• ARRT (MR) certification preferred
• Cardiac MRI experience is beneficial

You will work as an Allied Health Professional in a hospital setting, organizing and prioritizing work effectively while maintaining accurate records and contributing to a quality imaging department.
