Registered Nurse - ER @ Witham Memorial Hospital

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - ER</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 hour shifts with mid/night schedule options: 12p-12a or 7p-7a<br>• SANE certification required in hand at time of submission<br>• Must be willing to float or take call at the Center of Hope (20 minutes from main ER)<br>• Required to work at least one holiday during assignment<br>• Float between two ER locations as needed based on volume and census<br>• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends<br>• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics<br>• Handle daily census of approximately 50 patients with 50 visits per day<br>• Work in 13-room, 17-bed emergency department<br>• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, CPI, PALS, and SANE<br>• Preferred certifications: NIH, TNCC, and ENPC<br>• 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted<br>• Use Meditech Expanse charting system<br>• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed; must work 1 of 3 holidays if RTO during holiday period<br>• Complete up to 8 hours of modules within 1 week of signing<br>• 12 hours of orientation provided<br>• Work with rapid transfuser and pacing equipment<br>• Handle diverse emergency cases including trauma, cardiac events, and pediatric emergencies</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This short-term acute care hospital features 104 staffed beds and operates a comprehensive emergency department with two locations. The facility provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams.
