Telemetry RN Job in Janesville, WI

Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville is hiring a registered nurse for a telemetry position in acute care. This is a 0.9 FTE day shift role offering competitive weekly pay of $2,214 for a 91-day assignment beginning July 27, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3x12 day shifts, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every third weekend and holiday rotation required
• May float to other inpatient units based on census needs

Your Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to deliver patient care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments using approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Document all care according to established standards
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care as prescribed by the physician and hospital policy, including patient and family education
• Participate in unit performance improvement activities and shared governance initiatives
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units and departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care
• Utilize critical thinking to ensure patient safety and experience, escalating concerns to the appropriate chain of command when necessary

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin nursing license
• CPR certification
• Education verification
• Minimum experience in skilled nursing required
