Opportunity:

Pharmacy Tech - Pharmacy Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with rotating weekends
• Shift times either 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM
• Start times available at 6:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 10:00 AM
• Must be a certified pharmacy technician
• Required certifications: BLS, CPhT, and Crisis Protocol Approved
• Arizona State Board of Pharmacy Technician License required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Work with Omnicell medication system
• Gather medications for distribution to departments and omnicell units
• Deliver medications and requested items to departments and omnicell
• Prepare IV admixtures and deliver to medication rooms
• Gather medications for delivery to patient drawers
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and nursing staff
• Perform monthly unit inspections as assigned
• Complete Home Medication Reconciliations for all admitted patients
• Work in acute care setting using Allscripts charting system
