Med Surg RN Job in Chattanooga, TN

You will join a 26-bed Ortho/Spine unit at Parkridge Medical Center as a traveling RN. This role focuses on post-operative orthopedic and spine care, including knee and hip replacements and multi-level spine surgeries. You will work a 3x12 day shift schedule (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) with four weekend shifts required per the unit's rotation policy.

Unit Environment

• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Strong orthopedic background required
• Support staff includes unit secretaries, PCTs, and a Navigator
• Floating policy requires rotation across the unit

Clinical Details

• Documentation system: Meditech
• Equipment used: coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs
• Patient experience target: 72%
• Required dress code: Navy scrubs
