Telemetry RN Job in Winston Salem, NC

Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center Crisis Response is seeking a registered nurse for their telemetry unit. You will work 3x12 night shifts, with the flexibility of 36 or 48 hours per week based on unit needs. This is a 91-day assignment starting June 29, 2026.

Role Overview

You will care for patients in a 1:5–6 ratio on a medical-surgical telemetry floor. Your responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and care for patients with renal conditions, ESRD, acute renal failure, vascular procedures, CHF, and diabetic complications. Floating to similar units is required as needed. You will participate in self-scheduling per unit needs and every-other-weekend coverage.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BCLS certification required before start
• ACLS and NIH certifications preferred
• Competency with ZOLL equipment and EKG lead placement
• EKG testing must be passed prior to your start date
• First-time travelers are welcome

Orientation & Systems

You will receive 24 hours of orientation, including 2 shifts with a preceptor and EMR education. The facility uses Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR documentation systems.

What to Know

Scrubs are not provided; you must wear navy or white colors. You will need to provide availability for interview scheduling within 72 hours of application. An interview is required before any offer is extended.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $1,896.05 for this 91-day assignment.
