Registered Nurse - ICU @ IU Health North Hospital

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts
• Patient ratios: 1:2 across all shifts
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 3x12 shifts, 48 hours for 4x12 shifts
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS (CCRN preferred)
• No on-call requirements
• Float within scope to meet facility needs required
• Uniform requirements: Red top, black bottoms
• Charting system: Cerner
• Free parking provided
• 24 hours of orientation
• Must have Indiana state license and required certifications in hand before start date
• Locals not accepted for this position
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in 14-bed ICU
• Manage ventilated patients, cardiac monitoring, arterial lines, central lines, CVVHD/CRRT
• Experience with stroke care, sepsis management, manual proning, IABP, and various critical care procedures
