Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 4x12 or 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekday and weekend shifts required with 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• 34-bed med/surg unit with telemetry
• Patient ratios of 1:5-7
• Daily census of approximately 30 patients
• Adult patient population
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• WV or Compact License required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (through American Heart Association where applicable)
• Charting system: Cerner
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, central line care, chest tube management, heparin protocols, PICC line management, wound care/wound vac, tracheostomy care, IV management, and phlebotomy
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, rapid response teams, and radiology
• No scrubs provided
• Facility tolerates a maximum of 2-3 call-offs per contract
