Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 3x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total)
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Three call shifts in a 6-week period from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Must have significant NICU/PICU experience with minimum 3 years in children's hospital settings
• Work in PICU, NICU, and Pediatrics departments
• Required certifications: CRT/RRT License in South Carolina, BLS, PALS, NRP
• Must have 1-year minimum experience with EPIC EMR
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Must complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information
• Perform neonatal intubation including VLBW neonates, VLBW infant deliveries, iNO administration, Heliox administration, pediatric intubation assist, blood gas draw and analysis
• Work with specialized equipment including Servo Ventilators, Sensormedics 3100A/3100B, Bunnell HFJV, Precision Flow/Vapotherm, V60 BiPAP, Metaneb, Cough Assist, Optiflow junior, Nitric Oxide Vero/iNOVent
• Handle newborn resuscitation/stabilization and all neonatal/children's disease processes
• Must be comfortable following protocols and working with interdisciplinary support teams
• Floating to other qualified units may be required based on census needs
