ED Registered Nurse Job in North Kansas City, MO

NKC Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department in North Kansas City, Missouri. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a start date of June 23, 2026.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week, days, with every other weekend required
• 42-bed emergency department treating all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for all shifts
• May float to all competent units within the facility
• 36-hour orientation period plus 4 hours of pre-start modules (non-billable)

Requirements

• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• 1 year of recent Cerner experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required; Level I experience preferred
• Missouri RN license or compact state license required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• CPI certification required (can be obtained during compliance)
• Must pass EKG exam on orientation day with 80% or higher score

Continuing Education

• 4 stroke CEUs, 8 trauma CEUs, and 4 cardiac CEUs must be completed as soon as possible
• HealthStream modules required throughout assignment

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,203.20
